Highlights of Objectives Achieved 2008-2011

  1. We are progressing toward a goal of an increase in baptisms by 6 percent during this quadrennium,
  2. We have a committee that is actively seeking ways to reach and retain second- and third-generation Hispanics.
  3. Clerks’ reporting is improving, and we are closer to our goal, as we are seeking an increase in clerks’ reporting to 95 percent per quarter.
  4. Through the Discipleship Institute, train our lay members to be active disciples for Christ at SECC. 
  • The Discipleship Institute is active and is currently in its fourth year.



Prospective Achievements That Will Be Fulfilled 2011-2013

  1. Organize two new churches in areas with Hispanic population with no Hispanic churches nearby.
  2. Organize four companies and three affiliate groups to minister in areas where we have no presence.
  3. Increase tithe by 3.5 percent during the next quadrennium to total $26,959,090.56.
  4. Surpass the 18,000 mark in Hispanic membership.
